There’s also been a long anti-Israel bias (anti-semitic?) on this show. Ziva, the Israeli exchange agent, is now a US citizen and a “probie”. In the meantime, Mossad is portrayed as a bunch of bloodthirsty killers who kill for pleasure.

There is tremendous irony here.

If the entertainment industry portrays Christians as violent fanatics, fully prepared to kill women and children in their pursuit of forcing their twisted ideology on society, the following would happen:
1) Prim and proper Christians would feel mild distaste and say "Hollywood! I don't watch it!"
2) Non-Christians would settle into their couches and say, "Christians are weird."

If, on the other hand, the entertainment industry portrays Muslims as violent fanatics, fully prepared to kill women and children in their pursuit of forcing their twisted ideology on society, the following would happen:
1) Muslims would blow up building related to entertainment, and would hunt down and kill the families of people involved in production.
2) Non-Muslims would quake in terror and shout, "You idiots! You've made them mad! Now they're going to kill us all!!!"

And this is why all the crazy fanatics on TV are Christians.

I haven’t gotten that from the show at all and it continues to be one of our favorites - my husband’s far to my right and he loves it as well. Ziva is a great character and she uses her Mossad training to kick A@@. Her abilities and training are what contribute to make her one of their top agents.

I’ve been watching the show for years and don’t even remember a directly anti-Christian or anti-militia plot. If there’s one now, it had to come sometime. There are only so many murder plots to choose from and every group has it’s occasional crazies. They’ve tracked Arab terrorists before as well as Russians and other assorted nefarious types.
