Following Christ and making it to heaven requires listen to and acting upon every word of God and relying on the mercy and grace it extends. Are we sensible then when we deliberately do things against God's revealed will. Are we sensible when we acquiesce to popular political and social ideas which are contrary to God's word?

“faith without works is dead”... James 2:20. A “true” living Christianity is a combination of both faith and works. We are entitled to your own opinions but not our own interpretations.

Merry Christmas.

That's a good verse. I believe this lesser-known passage makes a stronger statement to the indolent man who believes his Biblically-illiterate profession of faith will save him:

"To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work." - Titus 1:15-16

To those of who believe it is fine to do none of God's good work, I suggest you find out what Jesus does to trees that bear no fruit in their season.
