Countering descriptions of the Declaration’s rhetoric as “dangerous,” George said there is “nothing new or surprising” in the statement. On civil disobedience the Declaration “simply affirms what Christianity has always taught.”

So the leftist elites are calling the Manhattan Declaration 'dangerous'? They think it wrong for this document to be advocating for civil disobedience? I guess, in their opinion, civil disobedience is supposed to only be employed for leftist causes. In other words, they can dish it out, but they don't seem to be able to TAKE it!

It is dangerous to them.

For Christians to actually LIVE as Christ, that is a radical, dangerous idea.

The Romans knew it, they knew the danger, which is why they insisted that the Christians just burn a pinch of incense to the gods. They could go home then to worship their God. Public order is kept, and no one defies Rome.

~Except the Christians refused the public order in the worship of the Roman gods and the public life of Rome.
