The already sordid tale of the Rev. David Dueppen and his baby's mother, former stripper Beatrice Hernandez, turned even tawdrier Tuesday as the two traded intimate and bizarre allegations in a Miami-Dade courtroom.
Dueppen said he'd been abused as a child, making him unable to resist Hernandez's demands for sex.
Hernandez said Dueppen threatened to "disappear her'' by sending monks in brown robes to "shoot'' her if she revealed the baby's existence to the church.
The priest met Hernandez, 41, seven years ago at Porky's, a now-defunct Miami strip club where she worked.
Their stormy relationship was well-known to the church. Three years ago, the Miami Archdiocese paid Hernandez a $30,000 settlement to end the affair. The payout was conditioned on their not seeing each other anymore.

Dueppen said he'd been abused as a child, making him unable to resist Hernandez's demands for sex. A Roman Catholic "abused" as a child? I've never heard of such!

The Revvvverrran was probably doing research for a sermon, that’s why he went to Porky’s to begin with.

Jeez, I am just so relieved this is a story about a priest and an adult female.
FINALLY!
Anything but the usual “priest on boy” stories.

In a separate court case, Dueppen is seeking majority custody of the baby girl. Now that's creepy. Especially after he was accused of choking the woman and threatening to put a hit out on her.
The case drew widespread attention in September, only months after TV priest Alberto Cutié admitted to having a girlfriend and switched to the Episcopal church.Dueppen, 42, who once served at the same Miami Beach parish as Cutié
Apparently they get rid of all the straight priests and only keep the gay ones.

Hmmm, let’s see -
The Jews take their theologically best and brightest and tell them “Get married and have 20 kids! Mazel tov! May all your sons be Rabbis and have 20 kids!”
The Catholics take their theologically best and brightest and tell them ... (oh, never mind).

its an accusation. not a fact. True. The facts are currently being determined in a court of law.
Stay tuned as this case unfolds.

Bravo Sierra. I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to any fool who believes that. No, really. The news is full of priests sodomizing young boys. This is refreshingly different.
