So a conservative convert to the RCC votes liberal suddenly. You might want to ask Ingraham, Bork, and the gang. Not on an individual basis, but judging by American voting history something within Catholicism makes Catholics vote liberal and Protestants vote conservative.
Something is going on and it is very noticeable when one looks at Hispanics that are Protestant or Catholic.

I’d wager my left nut that the many of the largest protestant denominations vote more liberally than Catholics. Including methodists, presbyterians, lutherans, and episcopalians.

I do know that the largest Protestant denomination is the Southern Baptists followed by Baptists in general, I believe the Southern Baptist vote is very close to the “white Evangelical” vote.
