These things will have to be brought up far and wide. Not merely on Free Republic (WHERE THERE ARE MANY SO-CALLED CONSERVATIVES WHO JUST LOVE ZONING ANYWAY), but at county commission and city council meetings. And if you already have zoning (we are still fighting tooth ‘ nail against it in our county), at zoning commission meetings.
These things come upon upon us because nobody is watching the ordinances and codes being put in place, and nobody is challenging them with respect to 1st Amendment, 4th Amendment, and other rights.
Being in the real estate business I run into these headaches all the time. Invariably you end up with some nasty little man who has power for the first time in his life and uses it to "punish" those he doesn't like. I would bet this is at the root of this pastor's persecution.
