Don't get me wrong. I do believe in miracles and I do believe people have been healed of many diseases, sicknesses, etc.
But when it comes to limbs growing back or tumors flopping out of people's bodies and whatnot, and there's no video to substantiate these things I get suspicious.
I'm not saying these things haven't happened (I believe the account of Jesus reattaching the Centurion's ear after Peter sliced it off), but we live in a world where you'd think at least ONE of these episodes was caught on tape.
But that's just me.
This is what lines the pockets of these preachers - the ones who make claims but can’t back up said claims.
And this - sadly - causes people to become disillusioned and jaded when it turns out that those claims turn out to be false.
FWIW, where miracles do occur, the work of God the Holy Spirit performs to glorify God the Son, not the Holy Spirit.
Additionally, the passage of the rich man asking for somebody to warn his living brothers about Hades concluded with him being told that if they failed to believe in the words of Moses, a miracle would neither convince them.
The work of God the Father is for us to believe in the Son. In this Church Age, we have more power available to us than in any other time in human history through faith alone in Christ alone.
