Bingo, we have a winner. Christianity celebrates the Resurrection and the victory over death.
The problem with this analysis, of course....is the simple fact that the Greek language no where shows Sunday as the day of resurrection. The original manuscripts all say "The Sabbath". The Catholic/Protestant bloc would have you believe otherwise....and they use this spurious claim to continue their illegitimate position regarding the first day of the week (Sunday). [Matthew 28:1][Mark 16:2][Luke 24:1][John 20:1] all say "On one of the Sabbaths". The word in the Greek is SABBATWN which means a special Sabbath....one that is counted between Passover and Pentecost [Leviticus 23:15-16].
Christ was crucified, died and was buried on Friday and rose again from the dead on Sunday.
All Christians are Catholic or Protestant, though you can continue to pretend otherwise if you wish.
However, since sola Scriptura is a lie, there is no reason to rely on Scripture alone (let alone microscopic misinterpretation thereof). Indeed, Christ left us His Church--the Catholic Church--to guide us and protect us from those who would brazenly misapply His message for their own personal self-aggrandizement.
