I recommend this reading from the Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation (which is celebrating 50 years of existance). The Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation is a worldwide educational organization which provides reliable information on the secular attacks on faith and family values; persecutions and abuses of human rights around the globe; and upholds the authentic teaching of the Catholic Church. http://www.mindszenty.org/ Its mission is "To Build and defend the Catholic Faith; To Strengthen and sustain family life; To work for freedom for all under God"
Here is the article from the current newsletter; it is not copyrighted (thanks be to God) and so can be distributed:

This article is by William Borst and is entitled "A Sign of Contradiction: the 2008 Election and the Catholic Church in America". It is WELL worth the effort to read; it is not long. It is very clear and concise.
Even members of my own family, Catholics all, voted for the empty suit, Obama. I asked some of them about their reasons and they became angry and defensive and asked me not to say anything more about their “preferences”. They did point out that they were “so happy” to go to midnight Mass on Christmas. Why? Politics is their real religion now, I don’t wish to even be in their company. I just pray for them and hold my tongue.
I will definitely spread the word about it, though, because the authors of the reports have done enough legwork that the rest of us can find additional information on just what has happened in the last 50 years.
And the radio program is done in St. Louisese, too. I about died when I heard the word "ahrrganization" with southside ahrrs.
