Late last night I watched an interview of this man, Darrell Mansfield, on TBN, and couldn't help but admire his musical skills on the harmonica - he JAMS! Looked him up on YouTube for my daughter and Mom to see, and am in tears after watching this...

That’s understandable, but ...

What of the video?

Wish I could have seen it.

He got my attention. And in such a way that the ordinary person can relate and want to be drawn near to Jesus.

I remember when I came to the Lord and someone turned me onto Larry Norman and I thought this is great only to find out it was done in the early 70’s and that was in the mid 80’s. Still listen to him after all these years.

Darrell Rocks!

Or, at least he used to.

I loved his stuff back in the 80’s, saw him at Cornerstone back in 87, really enjoyed his blues/rock/metal. Great stuff.

I was rather disappointed that as time went along, he got more into the acoustic blues and away from the electric.

Thanks for bringing back some good memories, though. I’ll have to see if I can rip some old vinyl and plug it into i-tunes sometimes soon.

:)

Darrel is playing out in California this Feb. Got to see Larry up in Kansas City at the Metro Vineyard in the 90’s. Great show, they even had Larry Clark there too.
