Yup, losing your job and maybe students losing some college credits is really funny.
What does somebody do with a bible college degree, anyway? It seems as useless as any government school degree in liberal arts.
You do realise that they also teach sciences etc?
Honestly, after Mother's Cookies going bankrupt, I only clicked on this thread because I thought it had to do with Pillsbury the baking company.
I graduated from college 32 years ago with a degree in philosophy (with honors, even). Have never eaten at the public trough, have put 2 kids through college (no student loans necessary), and am financially prepared to do the same with child #3, without impacting my retirement savings. Seems that liberal arts degree had pretty significant value from where I sit.
We need to stop funding every course of study no matter how frivolous in this country. I wish I had taken the nursing training at my college rather than the computer stuff, there's always jobs for them in the paper.
