Abortion foes using racism to make point at DNC [Randall Terry / Operation Rescue]

A small anti-abortion group will pass out inflammatory pamphlets in Denver during the Democratic National Convention next week to illustrate its opposition to "baby killing."

Operation Rescue leaders vowed today to pass out hundreds of thousands of racist pamphlets and to stage sit-ins with the intention of getting arrested, group founder Randall Terry said.

Handing out the pamphlets is the group's way of spotlighting a greater evil than racism, Terry said.

"The flier is meant of offend. Do you think racism is abhorrent?" Terry asked at a news conference at Denver Police Department headquarters, 1331 Cherokee St., this afternoon. He said child killing is much worse.

Anyone who votes for Sen. Barack Obama supports the killing of babies, Terry said.

The pamphlet asks the question: "Which is a worse crime: slavery or murder? The correct answer: murder. A slave can get free, but a murder victim cannot get 'undead.' "

Terry said he and supporters will hand out hundreds of thousands of copies of the pamphlets at the churches of evangelists and Catholics, who are targeted because they are more likely to overlook Obama's pro-choice views and vote for him in November.

Christians cannot ethically vote for Obama, he said.

People will find the pamphlets on their cars Sunday, Terry said.

Unlike other DNC protesters who vowed to abide Denver and Colorado laws, Terry said his group will intentionally — though peacefully — violate law in order to get arrested either Monday or Tuesday. They informed Denver police of their intentions in a meeting with authorities just prior to the news conference.

"We are specifically intending to get arrested," Terry said.

He predicted anywhere from 10 to 30 supporters would be arrested. Terry promised to alert the media to be on hand for the arrests.

What’s in those “racist pamphlets”? Quotations from Margaret Sanger?

I hope their pamphlet points out that the democrat party was the party of slavery and is the party of abortion. Also that abortion’s patron saint especially supported abortion of black babies.
