Exactly. It's always the same with these pissants. When jerks from PETA throw red paint on people wearing fur screaming "Fur is murder!" you notice it is usually some blue-haired old lady they target. It would show more conviction if they were to stand outside a Hells Angels club and do the same thing to the bikers leathers. If you feel that it is important to confront the religious by desecrating things they hold sacred, it is so easy to pick a religion that preaches turning the other cheek. These guys make me puke.

Actually, he ripped several pages from the Koran and tossed coffee grinds and a banana peel on them as well. A photo of the desecration was sent to the 'appropriate' authorities ;-)

In response to this and other posts on this thread: for the record, Myers did, in fact, include a page from the Koran in the trash-heap desecration of the Eucharist. Obviously, I say this not to defend his desecration (he will pay eternally for it if his pride and bad-will do not lead him to repentance for it), nor to point to his "courage" (he has none really, the thousands of posts all over the web pointing out his hypocrisy relative to Islam merely goaded him into also using a Koran; as a self-defined atheist, I assume he "has no use for" the Koran, either), but to set the record straight. If we're going to continue heaping coals on Myers' head (and I'm all for that!), then we might as well be accurate. He's the one who should look foolish, not us. Actually, I think he only desecrated an English translation of the Koran. It may be that the Moslems only venerate the Arabic version, so he should have used that one to be even-handed.
