Two years after the first Purim festival in 3405 (356 BCE), the Persian king Ahasueraus died and was succeeded by his son, Darius. Although a Jew according to Jewish law, Darius considered himself Persian and identified with the country of his birth. Nevertheless, as the son of Esther, he acted toward the Jews with far more benevolence than his predecessors had.
In 3408, the second year of his reign, Darius granted the Jews permission to continue the work halted 18 years earlier by King Cyrus and to complete the reconstruction of their Temple in Jerusalem. Moreover, Darius helped finance the project, sent building materials, and warned the Persian governor in Samaria that he would not tolerate any interference with the Jews.
Under the direction of Zerubavel, the prince of Judah, together with the prophets Zecharyah, Chaggai, and Malachi, the second Temple was completed in 3412 (349 BCE). On the third day of the month of Adar the Jews in Israel inaugurated the new Temple amidst great rejoicing, offering 100 bulls, 200 rams, 400 sheep, and 12 goats as sin offerings for the tribes of Israel.

Traditional Jewish chronologies are available in Orthodox Jewish books and online. Here is one example.
Posting an article with facts I hadn’t seen before is useful. You can stop after, “You’re welcome!”
I will try to remember to look at that site. We often, as we’re reading the Bible, wonder, “Was this before that? Is this at the same time as the other thing? Huh?” A quick source arranging the various parties by date would be helpful.

I know he used to, but I was under the impression (from some of the stuff he says at his web site) that he no longer accepts the Biblical events at face value.

Unfortunately, I don't think he believes like that anymore. He's anti-Israel as well, and has (or at least had) an article at his site attacking Fundamentalist Protestant Zionism.
For the following reasons. In 606 Bc is when Nebuchadnezzar beseiged Jerusalem.
Dan 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzarking of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
Jer 25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
The reason for the difference in one year is due to different methods of reckoning. Daniel used the Babylonian and Jeremiah used the Hebrew method. This does not make much difference in this study.
That is when the 70 yr. captivity begins which is 606 BC ( 3155).
Jer 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
Thus if we advance 70 years we get to 3225 or 537/536 BC. ..."(Cyrus the Great (Koresh) 536-529 B.C.E.).

Usurper king Artaxerxes (Smerdis) begins his 7 month reign in 522BC (3239). He stopped the construction.
Ezr 4:21 Give ye now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not builded, until another commandment shall be given from me.
Darius Hystapses (Darius I) begins reign (521 BC (3240) - 486 BC (3275).
