"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, "Matt 18:20 (ND Devotional) 7/14/08

"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst" Matthew 18:20 For some time, through FReepmail, several FReepers have provided each other with a way to share prayer requests and praises.

Now that the Non-denominational category has been established, we are offering a weekly thread in which posts of your requests and praises are welcome.

Anyone, regardless of denomination, is welcome to bring their concerns here.

The one thing that we hope to establish here, is that at a set time on Sunday evening, 11:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, 10:00 p.m. Central time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain time, and 8:00 p.m. Pacific time, we will as a group, lift these concerns up in prayer. Individual prayer at any time is, of course, encouraged.

If anyone desires to post an "anonymous" request, just word it in a manner such as: " Please lift up my prayer (or praise) for a personal concern." Additional anonymity can be gained by sending a request or praise to svcw via FReepmail.

In the future, the weekly thread will be posted on Monday mornings in order for the concerns to be gathered through the week before they are compiled for the Sunday evening group prayer. This list will be available to all by afternoon on Sunday.

If anyone has any additional ideas for this thread, or anyone would like to volunteer to help keep this thread going, please let us know.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our weekly prayer and praise...

Each day I am grateful that we gather for prayer and praise on FR.

Each day I am grateful that we live in a country where we can still gather for prayer and praise.

Each day I am thankful for my FR friends.

The battle belongs to the Lord.

Full Armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints...

Spencer is doing amazingly well in all areas but the blood. I don’t quite understand but it has something to do with the blood thinner and the possibility that he’s bleeding internally.

His brother, Parker, arrived this week! Praise God for whom all blessings flow!

I will be gone for awhile.
My daughter just called and the doctor has put her on complete bed rest, as her blood pressure has elevated.
She is 33.5 weeks and the baby is healthy and big.
The doctor is great and has told her that he will see her every other day to monitor her condition.
Anyway, do not know when I will have time to post or reply.
I am confident that the baby will be perfect and my daughter will be fine.
Thank you Lord for watching over both of them.
Thank you Lord that you are in control.

May I ask you to pray for my son, Matt? He just texted us that he was being rushed to the hospital and would contact us when he could. He is in California and we are in Georgia . He is saved and attends Calvary Chapel. He fractured his leg 2 weeks ago at his church’s retreat.
Thank you with all my heart and may God bless you.

The power of prayer!!!!
At one o'clock pst the doctor told my daughter she had all the indications of pre eclapmsia and at four o'clock she said well.......but still be on bed rest.
My daughter went to the docs this am and the doctor told her according to the tests that she had pre eclampsia (mild) and to go on complete bed rest.
About two o'clock he rechecked her just to make sure and she has zero symptoms - zero zip nada,,,but he wants her to stay on complete bed rest and I am still going to be with her.
The power of prayer. We need to also pray for the doctor because needless to say he is confused. He is a good man and wants to monitor my daughter every other day for the next week.
Thank you again for all your prayers.
