Our new parochial vicar (just ordained June 1!) gave a splendid homily on St. Peter and St. Paul, beginning with his visit several years ago to the Scavi (the catacombs under St. Peter's), which led to his answering the call to the priesthood, and winding up with a rousing explication of the day's Gospel.
As I told him afterwards, "If you're going to be Catholic, BE Catholic!"
