Thanks for posting this. I would encourage all the serious Catholics here to read Pope Benedict’s “Spirit of the Liturgy”, published by Ignatius Press, as you will see what the True meaning of Liturgy is and how it is to be celebrated. It is just one good read, as are all of the Pope’s books.
The Liturgy is slowly being returned back to solemnity and beauty. Thanks to God for Papa Benedict
It shows what the Holy Father is up against generally. The naive notion is that ll he has to do is to snap his fingers and the clergy jump. But since the Council, the pope have faced rebels in the Church, inclduing many members of the Curia.
