Heavenly Father, we come before You grateful that You are ultimately in control, and not us, in our human frailty and sin. We thank You for Your endless mercy and grace that brings us forgiveness when we deserve it the least. Father, You gave up Your one and only Son to cover our sins. For those of us who have lost a child to death, we cannot understand or fathom the depth of a love so great that You would give up the only Son You had to save us. We know the grief of the loss, in human terms, and having been created in Your image it gives us only a glimpse of what Your heart must have felt. Father, thank you! We bow before you, humbly asking Your forgiveness yet again, for our failures, and the times we refused to speak something the Holy Spirit was leading us to say. As You heart was pained with the death of Your Son, so Your heart must also be pained with numerous needless deaths of the unborn, lost in abortion. We cannot even begin to comprehend the anguish You must have as You watch Your children, killing their own offspring with no thought for their soul, for their future and destiny that is now lost forever. Father give us voice for these voiceless babes! Give us the words, and help us to speak them in boldness and not hold our tongues in fear. Many are growing weary, Lord, in the battle. They feel alone, as though no one cares any longer. Father, bring others to stand along side them in this battle. Give them courage and boldness! Give them assurance that You see and hear!
Father, we thank and praise You for those whose hearts You have touched, who did not abort their babies. Thank You, Father, for those lives saved. Raise them up as a generation seeking and speaking out for You. Father, I look at my 11 month old grandson who was condemned to death by the medical community, and thank you daily for my daughter’s strength in character to stand against the medical advice and fight for life, hers and his! Father, give these young women the same fortitude! Give them courage to say NO to anyone who is pressing them for an abortion. Give them the strength to not only speak it, but to take the stand and stand firm in it. Bring along support for them from every corner, to help them hold that position, and assist them in the days and decisions that lay before them. Give them and their children positive life testimonies for You, that You may be honored and glorified!
Father take to task those who exploit these dear little ones and their mothers, using them for their own advancement and advantage. This is not the heart with which Christ set up His church. Scripture does not support such acts, as can be seen in the book of Acts. Protect them Father, against such forces. Return the hearts of Your people to You and to Christ-like living.
Heavenly Father, hear our cries as we send up voice for those who are voiceless in this world. Bring an end to the senseless killing, in Jesus Name and in His blood we pray this. We thank and praise Your holy Name for all that was, is and is to come. In Jesus Name we pray, AMEN!
