I love how all the splinter denominations [and sects, out of deference to the present company] are always yapping about "the New Testament church" and getting back to the roots and all. Then they slander Catholicism.

Good point. I’m not Catholic, but I do see your point. I think there may be a line with tradition and theology with all churches. IMHO, some of these ‘splinter’ churches are trying to rediscover a closer theology (albeit most still leave out Christianity’s Jewish heritage) but they leave out tradition. I believe the latter is very important because we learn much from tradition. Just something for me to chew on more later.
