Have evangelicals abandoned the Religious Right for a more moderate center?

Guess that depends on how you define 'evangelical.' Some churches call themselves that, but what they are really evanglizing about is the liberal agenda, not the gospel. I wouldn't consider them evangelical.

You and me both but too many people are hoodwinked into believing evangelicalism is what much of Christendom claims it to be now. It used to be about sticking to the Word!
