Why their would their followers be different when they've been fed on Darwinism, the social gospel, environmentalism, and divers other popular nostrum?

Couldn't agree more. Churches and so-called religious people today preach that that all these things are acceptable in God's eyes, that God's laws as set forth in scripture are invalid, outdated, antiquated.
