I am so sorry to hear of your grandfather’s cancer.. and bone cancer is the most painful one can have. I am praying for comfort for ALL of your during this time & the minmal pain for your GF.. The morphine normally needed to neutralize pain, knocks one out.
What a hero he is/was in so many ways. Some relationships are just more special than others & it appears this was one of them.
What a wonderful tribute to your Grandfather. Prayers for all of you.
Your Grandfather sounds like a wonderful man, and we pray that his way back home to Our Lord is a peaceful one. May God comfort you and give you and your family strength now.
