I suppose. This thread mainly seems to be about drinking anyway.
About 10 posts out of 60 (so far)? I suppose there are never side discussions on RC threads. That was kinda snide of you, imo.
We all just seem to know each other for some reason, and if we haven't got Florida, Ohio State, or Germany in common....that explains the beer....then we have a pro-life Protestantism in common.
But one thing we ALL have in common is that meetings are supposed to begin with fellowship.
We just haven't got past that part yet.
And it ain't over 'til the first Hymn is sung.
Y'all got any any hymns in mind? (How 'bout 'Amazing Grace' --opens on Fridays at a theater near you-- Many don't know that's an old CALVINIST hymn....they think Joan Baez wrote it....sick,sick,sick...)
I need a midi file here, pronto!
There is another misnderstanding.
The Reformation broke into the English speaking world a pub called the "White Horse Inn." It was there that Latimer, Cranmer and Barnes came to an understanding of the 5-Solas. Presumably, beer was served. In fact you could say that beer is a Proddie tradition.
And that is why Baptists don't consider themselves Protestant. < ducking for cover>
