SOrry, that was the wrong link. I need to find that link, which is bookmarked on a different computer.

Alexander Scourby is the best, but that's with the KJV translation. I wonder how Mark Taheny did with the RSV/CE. Anyone know?

I haven't listened to it, but I've heard
this one is good.
Still, when I consider the narrator, I can only imagine hearing Lord Vader saying, "Now, we shall begin with the Gospel according to
Luuuuuke"

This is not a reading of the Bible, but an explanation of it, chapter-by-chapter:
Thru the Bible It is a series of free (but donate!) downloadable mp3s. I bought a neat little mp3 player (Samsung K5) with tiny built-in stereo speakers just to listen to this inspiring series.

He's only 2. Before he was baptized, his father sat him on his lap and read through the whole Bible. Took several months, but he did it. I bought him a childrens Bible this Christmas. We go through the stories together and answer the questions. He loves the story of Noah.

I think it was found in a bog in Ireland along with some old manuscripts. I'll see if they will send it to you.
