How sad, to see a post so contradictory to the truth. If Scott's soul is lost then thank God for it is being guided by the High Priest our Lord Jesus Christ, or maybe he is lost but for the sake of the true presence Christ in the eucharist that he is able to bring so many to His Kindom. Scott's so called lost soul is more fruitful than most found souls. You make false charges about him too. He says clearly that the Bible is never to be fully understood, and he says that the reason for that is because it is calling us to read it and to mature (or something on those lines), you get the point. He is not egoist, but like all men I am sure he has his defects and we can pray that he works to over come them. I think the guy is a gift to our generation. Thank you my protestant friends, we need more people like Scott, we need to learn and grow.
dedicated to the "lost soul of Scott Hahn" who will most likely never see either of these post. by Greg Hill
God Bless
You must be referring to that scathing essay in the Trinity Review - Hahn was a PCA minister (?) who found spiritual reality in the RCC....not even John Gerstner could talk him out of it.
John Robbins wrote that.....a gadfly and extreme calvinist of supralapsarian variety who denies any existence of truth save for literal words of scripture (which one, the originals that don't exist? who knows) and valid deductions made from propositions of scripture....duh
It is pretty arrogant to say someone's soul is lost, like declaring you are occupying a vacancy in the Trinity or something....just ignore Robbins....he is pretty deranged.
I know you're new here, but if you're going to start a "vanity" thread (something I don't recommend), it is helpful to label it as such and then be clearer about what you are referencing. I knew who Scott Hahn was because I read the other thread. But for those who don't, some context is helpful.
Also, there is no "you" here. So any sentence beginning with "you" should be changed to something more precise.
Finally, appending the original thread would have been preferable. Also, try introducing yourself when joining any board.
That said, welcome.

You do realize, of course, that your post makes absolutely no sense, don't you?
