I came on to the thread to expose the ridiculous position of the Roman Church and their Magesterium when it came to the facts of the resurrection. My Bible....and yours, says that Christ was to be entombed for 72 hours [Matthew 12:40]. Your Magesterium insists it was only 36 hours. The Bible says he had already resurrected by the time the women arrived at the tomb "Late on Sabbath" [Matthew 28:1]. Your Magesterium says no, it was at sunrise Sunday morning.
I explained in post # 14 where the confusion about a Sunday morning resurrection came from. No one has refuted it....no one can! I explained about the word "Epiphosko" in the Greek meaning dawn....but also meaning beginning, such as in the term....the "Dawning of an Age". I showed where the dawning of the first day of the week was actually at sundown....shortly after the end of the Sabbath on which Christ resurrected. It was the beginning of the week.
I have pointed out the error of your theology and how you are being led astray. I have asked the question "Why" several times. No one has answered. The main stream Church, and that includes the daughter churches (Protestants) have been pulling the wool over your eyes and have established a counterfeit religion for at least 1700 years. It is your responsibility to seek out and understand the word....not some bunch of fallible morons teaching false doctrine.
