None of the variances of any of the major translations is material, IMHO.

Would the deity of Christ be immaterial?

I don't like some of the modernized World Council of Churches flavor of some translations. And sometimes too many verses or issues seem much too watered down for my theology.

But I can spit out the bones.

And the better modern translations are quite clear enough on the Deity of Christ and all the other major doctrines of the faith.

God has been faithful to protect His Word sufficiently that it accomplishes what He wants in about any good modern translation that exists.
