Bingo. That isn't some simpleminded dichotomy: it is reason aided by the Word of God. Ultimately, one belongs to the first or the second. If a church-related organization states that what God's Word declares to be wrong is really right (or perhaps neutral), and we understand that such is false prophecy by proclamation alone, the rest follows.
Satan said "ye shall be like gods," and we've believed it ever since.
