Holy Pascha - The Resurrection of the Lord during Holy Easter is being celebrated a week after the Western rite Easter this year. Approximately 250 million Orthodox Christians around the world celebrate the Resurrection (Anastasis) of the Lord Jesus at midnight tonight.

I just wish we Byzantine Catholics would return to the Orthodox paschalion. It feels odd celebrating the same calendar and liturgies as the Orthodox, but doing them at different times.

I am not quite familiar with the Byzantine Catholic controversy...but why not just UNITE in the Lord. That would be the best solution of all. Oh, I know..too many human created turf battles... sad.
