From your tagline, "a life of religion is to do good", a gather you do not grasp the significance of Christ other than being a nice fellow and do-gooder.

The Lord wishes good for all and draws all to Him in heaven. It is man's desire only that rejects Divine love and turns away from it. The Lord's love correspond to the natural laws of gravity.

From doctrines within Scripture...

What scripture gave rise to this insane theory?

Through faith in Christ, one has no need to be either religious or a do-gooder

Sorry, faith alone without charity to the neighbor will condem you to hell.

I do not suggest those who are faithful do not exercise grace and charity. We have already been condemned. Codemnation comes before salvation. By faith in Him, we are given eternal life by regeneration of our spirit from the Holy Spirit. Yes, one God, revealed to us in three persons.
