So, what are we to make of JP II who promoted so many of these monsters. This was a great pope? V's wife.

I wish he hadn't. Based on some of the stories I heard, JP II had basically thrown up his hands when it came to the American Church. Many of our bishops seem to be in secret schism and will not obey Rome.

I pray for the intentions of the Pope every day.
