I don't have a ping list, but I'd be grateful if the others I've pinged here pass the word that last night I talked to Fr. Stan Klores, pastor of St. Patrick's. He's well, in Nachitoches, and very eager to return home soon. He confirms my impression that our church has weathered Katrina virtually unscathed, but for a small section of exterior stucco that's fallen from the brick substrate.
