The poor guy would be better off if they beheaded him. Or hanging, drawing and quartering him. Messy but a quicker death. I thought those days of horror were gone forever in modern Britain. Evidently, they've only just begun.

This method is sheer torture, and to this man who evidently is cognizant of his situation, infinitely moreso.

It's a devious way of absolving one's self in participating in murder to refuse nutrition.
