I find that hard to believe that there are no Orthodox Churches in the area of Queens that you are going to. One of my fellow Parishioners lamented the fact that our Priest received a call where he was informed that the Parishioner attended a service in Queens and we are out in Central Jersey. Also in Astoria, Queens there is a t least one Greek Orthodox Church.

I'll be on the southern-most tip of Queens in Howard Beach. I did find churches in Woodside and Rigdgewood on the OCA website. I'll have to check out if there would be any parking in the area. Much of Queens is built for mass transit (which I would not take alone at night) and little on street parking is possible. But I will check them out.

There's at least 3 Greek Orthodox churches in Astoria, just a bit too far for me to get back and forth for all the wedding stuff.

In all my years growing up in Queens, I had never seen an Orthodox church and knew little about them. I guess we stayed in our own little neighborhoods and didn't venture very far out of them.

Thanks for the tips. A blessed Pascha to you.
