I believe in the one true GOD

I believe in the one true GOD

I believe there is only one true GOD. Only the GOD of the bible is real; others are demonic counterfeits created to draw you away from the one true GOD. The bible doesn’t argue for the existence of GOD because it is his word and the existence of GOD is taken as fact. GOD is the ultimate supreme Spirit in which all things have their source, support and end. It is a scientific fact that matter cannot be created or destroyed. I believe that is because only GOD can create and destroy matter. The word of GOD (the bible) reveals him to us, because GOD is so infinite he is beyond our comprehension.

Nobody made GOD. He is eternal. He always was and always will be. Those who come to GOD must believe that he is HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

What is GOD? GOD is divine essence John 4:24. GOD is divine compassion 1 John 4:8. GOD is divine holiness 1 john 1:5. GOD is divine righteousness Hebrew 12:29. The bible teaches us that GOD is a person; he has a personality; he loves, he hates, he grieves, he is jealous, he can get angry and he cares. God is not an impersonal force nor is he just all of nature. If we look at his creation we will see that he is glorious and Majestic (just take a little trip to a national park some time) but we need to look into his book to understand who he is. It is through the bible that GOD reveals himself to us not through what he created.

God is Omniscient. That means he is all knowing Psalm 139:1-4, 1 John 3:20. God is all-powerful Job 42:2 God can do all things, Matthew 19:26. God is everywhere even in our thoughts. Psalms 139:7-17 Nothing is hidden from GOD. There is nothing you can do that GOD can not see, there is nothing you can say that GOD can not hear no matter where you do it even in your deepest thoughts. God is Gracious, and Thank the LORD for his grace for without God’s grace we would get what we deserve. Grace means undeserved favor. We are saved by grace Ephesians 2:8 and taught by grace Titus 2:11-12 and kept by grace 2 Corinthians 12:9. GOD is Holy. We should hold him in reverence. We need to exalt GOD Psalm 99:9. GOD is unchanging Malachi 3:6,GOD is the same in the Old Testament as he is now GOD has never changed and never will. GOD is truth, GOD cannot lie Titus 1:2., GOD is love Romans 5:8. you see nobody can love you like GOD loves you. Not like the liberal churches explain this. GOD says harsh things against sin. He judges sin because he wants us to understand that sin will hurt us he is not hurting us by telling us not to sin. God is Eternal; the very name of GOD is “I AM” Exodus 3:14. His name is not I was or I will be but it is I AM.

I believe in the HOLY SPIRIT

There are a lot of things thought about the Holy Spirit and a lot of different opinions as to what the Holy Spirit is. There are so many cults out there that believe the Holy Sprit is just a force or an influence. There is also the extreme emphasis of the Holy Spirit by the Charismatic Movement, They treat the Holy Spirit as something that they can command and will whip themselves into a euphoric state and claim it is the Holy Spirit acting upon them. This movement is spreading though out the world. I believe even though they call upon the Holy Spirit, they know very little about the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Sprit is one of the components of the Trinity. Look at Act 5:3-4. This is where Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit but if you read in verse 4 we see he lied to GOD. The Holy Spirit is a person. that is why the bible refers to him as He, Him, And Himself.. I JOHN 5:7 tells us that the Holy Spirit is one with GOD the father and one with the word which is Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit was there at creation Genesis 1:2. The Holy Spirit is the author of Prophecy 2 Peter 1:21. The Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus John 15:26 The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin John 16:8-11.

I believe you receive the Holy Spirit when you get saved. Not sometime afterwards; not after baptism or after some so called second Blessing. ROMANS 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. The Holy Spirit lives within every believer. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit as well 1 Corinthians 6:19.

The Holy Spirit prays on our behalf. He makes intercession for us Romans, 8:26-27. The Holy Spirit is our comforter as well, JOHN 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, Corinthians 2:12-14, we are able to understand the bible because of the Holy Spirit. We can read the bible like a book before we are saved but it is not until we are saved and the Holy Spirit dwells in us that we truly understand it and he reveals things in his word as we gain in understanding.

I am saved because of the convicting power of the Holy Spirit and so is any one else. It is the Holy Spirit that enables us to get saved.

I Believe in JESUS CHRIST

The most famous verse in the entire bible the most quoted and most memorized is JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This bible is true whoever believes in him will not perish. But if you believe Jesus existed and that is all then you truly do not believe in him. You have to know who he is and what he said. To believe in someone is to totally trust him and rely on him absolutely. That is where modern and liberal churches fail. They claim to believe in Jesus but they do not believe every word he said nor do they rely on him.

First and foremost Jesus Christ is GOD and part of the trinity. Some say the second part of the trinity. This is hard for many to fathom. But Gods word says he was yet it also says he was separated from GOD in a physical sense. But the bible says he was GOD and was with GOD all at the same time. The bible says it is important to know who Jesus is. I believe you cannot be saved unless you understand that Jesus is GOD. JOHN 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins. You see you will die in your sins if you do not know that Jesus is GOD.

In the bible Jesus prayed to GOD referred to GOD as his father. Jesus say that his father (GOD) sent him as he is JOHN 20:21. Then he said he and his father (GOD) were one meaning they were the same JOHN 10:30. There are those who will twist this verse around to mean something different but then in the very next verse they were to take up stones to try and kill Jesus. That means to me that the only thing Jesus could have meant in that scripture than by being one with GOD he was also GOD. That is why the Jews were going to stone him there. JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Jesus was there in the beginning and through Jesus all things are made. Well if GOD is the creator then Jesus has to be GOD. “The word” is Jesus in case you were confused in JOHN 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. I know Jesus is GOD because it is clearly defines it in my Bible.

As Jesus is GOD he was also a living human being born of a woman just like you and me except his was a Divine birth of a virgin of King David’s bloodline Galatians 4:4. Jesus was born like any child. Mary went though a normal human pregnancy Luke 2:4. In his human form he experienced growth, he needed sleep, he got hungry and had to eat. He felt pain and he touched things like you and me. He even died a physical death. The only difference was that he lived his whole life without ever committing one sin. I believe Jesus lived a sinless life 2 Corinthians 5:21.

I believe Jesus is the messiah prophesied about in the Old Testament. ISAIAH 9:9 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.. Isaiah and the other prophets were talking about Jesus.

I believe that Jesus was crucified and died a horrible brutal death for my sin as well as yours. He was beaten, humiliated, abandoned by his friends, hated by most of his people, wrongfully accused, and was executed in one of the most cruel methods known to man. I believe that Jesus knew he would have to endure this treatment and could have turned away from this, but choose to go though with it out of his love for us. JOHN 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. I don’t know about you but that is the greatest thing to be thankful for. Jesus died for us. I believe Jesus did die for everyone ROMANS 5:8. All of our sins were laid upon Jesus at the cross Isaiah 53:6.

Not only do I believe Jesus died on the cross but I also believe he rose from the dead three days later. I believe that Jesus rose from the dead in a physical body I believe he died at sunset on Wednesday and rose from the dead 72 hours later. He first appeared as a risen savior on Sunday. JOHN 20:1 The first [day] of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Jesus conquered death, he was buried into death and rose into life. Jesus rose from the dead for our justification Romans 2:25. Through GOD’s mercy we have a hope though the resurrection of Christ. 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I believe after the resurrection he spends time teaching his Apostles and then ascended in to heaven in bodily form. Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. At the present time Jesus is at the right hand of the Father where Jesus is making intercession for us Hebrews 7:25, preparing a place for us John 14:2 and being an advocate for us 1 John 2:1.

I believe in the return of our savior Jesus Christ. Just as Jesus ascended in to heaven he will return Acts1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Jesus himself told the Apostles he would return John 14:3. The Return of Jesus is called our blessed hope.

I believe in the HOLY TRINTY

I believe there is one GOD Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 45:5 and I Timothy 2:5. I believe in the trinity, that there is one GOD is three persons; the Father (the great I Am), the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ the son. Some look at it like an egg it is one egg yet it is a shell a yolk and the white or clear stuff, but I think that example fail to real grasp the concept of the Trinity but it is better than any way I can explain it. Although the word Trinity does not appear in my bible, the concept does.

I have been in four different churches (3 denominational and one non-denominational) over the last 6 days. Though I sense that there is some regional darkness where I am, if these four (a wide spectrum of traditions) are any indication - the church in America is very weak indeed.

If I were a visitor from another planet, I would have to assume that scripture says, If easter eggs be lifted up, He will draw all men to himself. Or perhaps it says, to woman be the glory. Or maybe even sola going-through-the-motions.

I am heartsick and driven further to prayer for purity in the Body. Will you agree with me in your prayers on the morrow?

Yes, I will agree.

Where iniquity doth abound, grace doth much more abound.
