Terri Schiavo Tried to Tell Parents' Attorney She Wanted to Live
by Steven Ertelt LifeNews.com Editor March 18, 2005
Pinellas Park, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Just before representatives of her estranged husband Michael removed her feeding tube Friday afternoon, Terri Schiavo reportedly told an attorney for her parents that she wanted to live.
Barbara Weller, one of the attorneys for Terri's parents Bob and Mary Schindler, told reporters about her visit with Terri on Friday.
"Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' all of this will be over," she told the disabled woman.
Weller said Terri desperately tried to repeat Weller's words.
"'I waaaaannt ...,' Schiavo allegedly said. Weller described it as a prolonged yell that was loud enough that police stationed nearby entered the hospice room.
"She just started yelling, 'I waaaannt, I waaaannt,'" Weller explained.
At that point, police removed Weller from Terri's hospice room and, later, her feeding tube was removed.
Randall Terry recounted Weller's experience on the "Sean Hannity" nationally syndicated radio program.
Meanwhile, another Schindler attorney described the mood of Terri's parents after the tumultuous afternoon.
"They're devastated," their lawyer, David Gibbs told Reuters after the tube was removed. "They would change places with her in a heartbeat, if there was any way that they could be the one that's sick and hurting, and give their health to Terri. They're a mom, a dad. ... It's a tough day for them."

Monsterous.
Did any medical personnel see this?
Who saw this besides the parents' lawyer?

Terri's sister Suzanne and Suzanne's husband.
Prayers for Terri and her parents.
Here's the whole story, written by Weller:

Dear God....
Apparently they didn't like Terri's accent. /sarcasm
This is pure unadulterated evil. If the Republicans cannot stop this when they have a majority in both houses, a Republican president, and a republican governor in the state in question, then they are worthless and don't deserve anyone's support anymore. If this woman dies because they got caught up in debate and refused, yes REFUSED to take action, (they have had PLENTY of time for this before now if they even cared) then I for one will not support the party anymore. I just can't. I have been hoping against hope too long. Time to pull THEIR feeding tube.
Man. Talk about misdirected anger! Here you have a whole justice system that isn't protecting Terri. A whole medical system that isn't protecting Terri. And, a whole country of people, most of whom have some sort of religious convictions about the sanctity of life, that haven't protected Terri. Are you planning on holding a grudge toward any of these groups...or just elected Republicans?
If this woman dies it will NOT be due to the Republicans in ANY office, it will be due to the unadulterated evil of a liberal judge & a low-life, probably liberal, husband. This is Pinellas Park...Gore Country.
The Republicans have tried whatever due process is available to them. The judge (Greer) will again take it from their hands. Other than having him arrested, what can they do?
I would like to thank everyone here on FR for having provided insight and response to my questions regarding Terri's persecution. The answers I have received here have been directly contradicted by unsupported statements in the media over the past few days. There are sinister lies at the foundation of this whole affair, lies which the opposition refuses to address, and cannot seem to deal with. This is a great tragedy that will go on to affect our lives directly in one way or another, just as other life issues have in the past.
The duplicity of the liberals is so transparent here. Being accustomed to hearing them cry for more federal involvement in private matters, we can see them now claim that the federal level is no place for the protection of the infirm. It is so ludicrous. Theirs is a cause without principles.
The U.S. congressmen who have courageously stepped forward to give their measured annunciation to this argument are being criticized by the liberal media and hateful journalists as merely seeking political power from the public sympathy in a situation that the public does not comprehend. It seems to me that these liberals have chosen to "comprehend" the situation in the way that fits with their own gnostic, anti-life agenda, whatever it takes. And if they were each the one who is being starved to death without being able to speak clearly, they would likely squirm and shriek, "I WAAAAAAAN...," in the same manner that Terri does, as they dare to criticize her loving parents' intentions.
Michael Schiavo reminds me of Scott Peterson.
A wonderful post. Thanks. I'm praying right now for Terri.
This is Lent, and I am having a hard time justifying any eating for myself, when Terri is being prohibited any food.
Perhaps if we all fast and pray for her...
But the sorry facts are that if you pull THEIR feeding tube, you are enabling the feeding tube of Schiavo, Greer, Felos, Wexler, Nadler, and even Kavorkian!!! Is that what we want????
Does the hospice have fire sprinklers? Perhaps its time to start a fire and have the sprinklers turn on - that way Terry could atleast get some WATER without anyone breaking the #$^& law! (of course during the course of the evacuation, if she was somehow spirited out of her room, then all the better! I'm just ranting here, you know...)
Regardless of what I want, that's what we have.
that's actually a good idea.
