Our "Parent" who art in heaven"?.........yeah right. Recently I saw a PBS documentary about the lesbian Methodist pastor who was defrocked.
In that church, the congregation prayed, "Our Mother/Father, who art in heaven ..."
I kid you not.
The real kicker was that many in the congregation thought the head pastor (the lesbian was the junior pastor) was too much of a biblical literalist.

Check to see if she went to Union Seminary in NY. When my daughter spent a college spring break working in the NY homeless shelters they stayed on the Union Seminary campus. They attended some services there and instead of saying amen, they said awoman. Very gay/lesbian friendly campus.

It's true. The church with the defrocked lesbian had for a long time had a similarly liberal pastor (the mentor?) who had been reassigned about 2 years ago maybe.
The new pastor is more moderate. I wouldn't call him a biblical literalist....I'd withhold judgment on that 'til I actually saw some of his writing.
