What would this specifically "New Testament" response be, when confronted with false (i.e. didn't come to pass) prophecy? Or is false prophecy something that went away with the applicability of the OT? Does not being allowed to impose punishment on false prophets mean that we shouldn't ignore them as we are also commanded? Did God really speak through them after all?

Tell us, Quix, what is the appropriate "New Testament Response"? More specifically, what is the New Testament test to determine false prophecy? Tests of accuracy, i.e. "didn't come to pass as prophesied", are part of the "Old Testament Reality" that you repeatedly claim has little application to our NT-era lives.

While you're at it, show me the NT injunction against beastiality. There was one in the OT, but none in the NT. Using your "OT vs NT" Rules of Reality, sleeping with farm animals is no longer a sinful offense.
