Jesus told His disciples, "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."
How can prophecies be unfolding when Jesus said we would not know the time of His return?

There's TONS OF, LAYERS OF, SUB GROUPS OF prophetic issues, facts, dynamics, topics etc. between A to Z. Interesting that you get fixated on a microscopic PART of say D and then pretend that's the whole vastly arrayed subject area.

I think this is a good point. Jesus is the end of biblical prophecy. The book of revelation of Jesus Christ is a wrap-up. Everything since the Resurrection is endtime.
The Lord has always forewarned his people about things that will transpire. He wants us to be ready. We don't know the hour now, even Christ doesn't, but in reading the signposts along the way, we WILL know when it approaches so we can be diligent to be sure we speak to others about it and try to save them from the coming tribulation.
