From what I can gather, by talking to my friends (GOP and Lib) all over the state, ultimately it was the car tax that "done him in."

So many of our taxes are "hidden", we just don't really see them and absorb the hit.

But the car tax came in the mail, and was so much higher than last year's, that it was stark and rather infuriating.
