Dan Rather-Baised just began his nightly "news" program by asking if Arnold had been given a "pass by the very people who should have asked tough questions".....this on a day that a Gallup poll found that a majority believe the media is too liberal....the gall of this guy.

If anyone got a pass from the media it was Davis. God only knows what Americans, and especially the people of California do not know.
Imagine the lead stories if a GOP Gov. facing a recall was contracting shredding services. Or if a GOP Gov treated staffers in the manner that Davis does, including physical violence.
Did the press go a little easy on Arnold? I think they may have. Though Arnold limited their access to him so they really never got a chance.
Now, the politician who has gotten the biggest free ride from the press in the history of America is Hillary Clinton. Can't wait for Rathers explosive stories on that matter.

What was the story a while back that Rather REFUSED to report, even though almost all other media was reporting it?....Rather ONLY reported it when the world made sport of him for NOT reporting it.

I remember a thread here that reported that Chandra Levy didn't know she was missing because she only watches CBS news.
And Rather never reported on it personally. He had a field reporter do it for him.

The Dims are reeling from this. They never expected it would be this bad in one of their key blue states. Does not bode well for them in 2004.
Rather has a point, in a manner of speaking. Out of desperation I would expect brutal media treatment in 2004 of all pubbie candidates in a desperate effort for the Dims to regain some power.

asking if Arnold had been given a "pass by the very people who should have asked tough questions"..... Everything, especially gropees was rushed into print or put on TV or radio immediately. Even unsubstantiated or incomplete stories like the love child and the Hitler connection, which were then retracted at 2 in the morning. It's gotten tiresome and it's obvious that votors have awakened to such political ploys.

1. Mrs. Clinton, how could you NOT know the whereabouts of the Rose Law Firm billing records that somehow just appeared in YOUR living quarters?
