Common Tator is on record saying that he wants Bustamante to win. So what do you expect?

Opposing any wish of the RNC = giving power to Democrats.

"We should all just try to get along" ...my way.

Shut up and vote.

The only men I know, and I know some very staid and upright men, that have not groped a female at some time in their lives, are gay. I've been groped. We used to call it "trying to get to first base". No big deal.

there is no way in hell the recall will pass.

Bustamante and Arnold+ (he'll pick up a couple if McC drops out) voters alone will put Davis out. Bustamante voters are not voting No on recall, bank it.

>>>How can it be a smear campaign when Arnold admitted the story was true today?

Exactly!

It's quite obvious, Arnie is a serial abuser of women.

Arnold may lose some votes because of the slime fest currently in full swing, but he'll stil win.

Translation: The A-R-N-I-E...yes, that's the serial groper for me! I stand alone on the Word of a Hitler fan, the A-R-N-I-E!!!

Do you think the Democrats are better at enforcing the immigration laws, somebody like Bustamante? That's whom you are voting for, when punching the ballot for Bustamante.

But, I'm voting for McClintock.

I was replying to a post, which predicted that if McC is not on the ballot, his supporters will vote against the recall or stay home.

This is what's called "cut off your nose to spite your face". If this behavior is indeed what can be expected of McC voters, it is indeed a sad commentary.

In the last primary election, I voted for Riordan, because I knew Simon didn't have a chance to win, but Riordan could beat Davis. But, when Simon became the nominee, I didn't stay home and sulk, in the general election I went out and voted for Simon and hoped against hope that he may win.

Apparently the McC voters are not really followers of principle, but followers of ONE person. When even VERY conservative prominent Republicans and organizations are asking McC to drop out, you'd think that he, or at least his supporters would listen.

Tomorrow is about McClintock's real LAST CHANCE to get out and salvage his career

A real ArnieBot. Here Arnie's rep went into the toilet on Oct. 2 when he conceded to inappropriate behavior around women (translation: "Yes, I'm a serial groper.") + then 'twas found out that Hitler was a big hero of his in '75...and here ya worried about McClintock "salvaging his career."

But Bill Clinton is ASHAMED, huh tator?

Sorry - thought Arnold was the master of the crossover vote. Tom's the right wing crazies.

A simple test of whether most people believe Tom is influenced or supported by "right wing crazies" is to have them read the comments and writings of his closest advisor John Stoos. Stoos dreams of a state and society that disregards the US Constitution and institutes local boards that creates laws of, by and for "right wing crazies" to the detriment of everyone else.

If that were not contemptible enough, the lifetime politician made sure taxpayers supported John Stoos with their money. As the supposed man of principle, that fact should be in every "Tax Fighter" ad that is aired by his Indian gaming friends.

You can call it whatever you want, but it is a fact, so quit griping about it.

I'm voting for the recall no matter what - even if Issa tells me not to.

Shut up and vote.

I'm afraid to vote.

I've been advised that if I accidentally vote for the "wrong" Republican, somehow my county election officer will switch my vote to a Democrat candidate.

What should I do Saber?

Do you remember the Anita Hill accusations of Clarence Thomas? Standard Democrat tactics

S.D.T.=Standard Dem tactics...yes, especially on the timing...but some grenades have more firepower than others...based on veracity...seems to me that Arnie pulled the pin out of the grenade on this one, allowing the media to make the lob.

Don't go there carbon14. It's a weak argument and a non-issue. Stoos got slapped down by his boss. And don't talk to me about Casino money unless you want to include Nevada.

All I did is post what the president of the Lincoln Club of Orange county wrote to McClintock.

What I say doesn't matter, but one would think that conservatives would pay attention to what many other conservative leaders have been saying from the Lincoln Club to Ray Haynes, to Simon, to Brulte, to Cox, to Hewitt, to Hannity, and the list goes on.

Why don't you take a deep breath, look at the source and read it again:

====

"The conservative Lincoln Club of Orange County sent a letter to trailing candidate and state Sen. Tom McClintock on Wednesday asking him to live up to earlier promises that he wouldn't become a spoiler for Republicans in the recall race.

"With the historic recall election next Tuesday you not only risk splitting the Republican vote, but you risk your standing as California's conservative standard bearer," club president Tracy Price wrote in the letter. "Being a man of integrity in the end means doing what's right for everyone, not just Tom McClintock."

Only 15 percent of likely voters surveyed in the LA Times poll said they planned to vote for McClintock. By staying in the race, Republican leaders fear McClintock could either jeopardize any chance of unseating Davis or could throw the election to Bustamante.

But the end result's the same - the opposition, instead of being depressed, is infuriated by the smear campaign and as a result is motivated to turn out in large numbers to punish the man behind it all.

Politically, this was just about the dumbest thing Davis could do. Dumb, but not surprising. Dirty tricks and hatchet jobs are all Gray Davis knows.
