We most definitely need the Tom supporters to do the right thing, vote yes on the recall, and yes on Schwarzenegger.

Did you see my post #4, quoting the President of the conservative Lincoln Club?

""Being a man of integrity in the end means doing what's right for everyone, not just Tom McClintock."

And actually doing the right thing IS the right thing for
everyone AND McClintock. If he drops out NOW, he will still have a career, if not and the Dems retain control, he won't be able to get elected dogcatcher in CA, despite his wonderful qualifications.

"By staying in the race, Republican leaders fear McClintock could either jeopardize any chance of unseating Davis or could throw the election to Bustamante.
"

That 15% represents close to half of the conservative vote - despite all efforts, time and money to sway these people they are standing behind the candidate that best embraces the Republican platform.

Oh BS, that 15% represents the total membership of about 5 different 3rd parties. Give me a break.

Resorting to Davis tactics now? It won't work, because here there are records of what was posted.

The purpose for McClintock staying in the race is to stop Arnold from getting the majority of votes. He knows he is going to lose. This goes beyond principles; it shows selfishness and vindictiveness.

Do you remember the Anita Hill accusations of Clarence Thomas?

Standard Democrat tactics.

Latest Poll Shows Arnold Still Ahead (Field poll, taken before smear campaign)

How can it be a smear campaign when Arnold admitted the story was true today?

Why would Arnie immediately admit it was true? You heard him do it all day on Radio. Only one reason Arnie fessed up. There are a lot more woman out there he has groped and abused. He was told that if he tried to stonewall it, they would likely come forward too. Don't deny it arnie or you will give lots of women the backbone to go public with your years of abuse.

About the first incident of the gangbang of the black girl on the 2nd floor of the gym Arnie said he lied to sell people on doing work outs. Now he admits being a sexual preditor, but says he won't do it again.

I know this from my years in show business. There is no need to grope or grab unwilling woman. There are a million pretty Monica's who will do it any time any where a celebrity wants. It is easier to get sex than it is to get a Big Mac and Fries.

Only sick evil men need to grab, grope and hurt woman with unwanted sexual advances Note that Arnie did it with others watching. He needed to humiliate the woman, make her feel like a worthless object with which Arnie could publicly play whenever he felt like it.

If Arnie gets elected... He will make Bill Clinton look like the most ethical governor in history.

One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel, 15% rotten is just overkill. Go for it.

McClintock is not the man for this task but just as Schwarzenegger appeared, almost magicaly, in the 11th hour from the backwaters of the RNC so could a capabale opponent.

Bush's stance on matricular cards and his unwillingness to regulate immigartion has created a broad base of anger across the entire Republican spectrum in California.

"If Tom bails, they'll either vote against the recall or not vote at all... "

This is a very sad commentary about the Mcclintock voters.

These Arnold Groupies are delusional. I think McClintock provides the winning margin for the recall. I bet a lot of his supporters can't look away at these recent revelations. They will vote for the recall, but only if they have Tom to support.

That's your opinion. Many would say that it is sad that so many will excuse what we would never excuse if Clinton did it.

First of all, you don't agree that what is going on is a last minute smear campaign against Arnold?

Arnold did NOT admit the story.

He said some was true, some wasn't and he never admired Hitler.

Oh, wait, I remember now, you are the one who said explicitely that you WANTED Bustamante to win.

Tomorrow is about McClintock's real LAST CHANCE to get out and salvage his career. If he stays in and the Dems retain control of CA, because of his obstinence, he can never live that down in CA.

At the risk of suggesting the sky might not fall...

Republican state Sen. Tom McClintock said there would be no hard feelings if Arnold Schwarzenegger wins in the recall election.

He told the Los Angeles Times he would support the actor "to the hilt."

McClintock did say he's very skeptical of Schwarzenegger's team, but said he actually personally likes the guy and has no personal animosity toward him.

Perhaps if the McClintock were better understood, the CA G.O.P. would have known how to woe them - instead of spending on enticing the left. And now spending time on damage control.

Thanks for the calibration. It seems like the Arnold haters are the same ones who are the Bush haters, and the same ones who want to sink the Republican Party, by giving the power to the Democrats.

And you call yourselves conservatives?!
