City to recognize Consular IDs

City Manager Wayne Cauthen has implemented an Administrative Regulation recognizing identification cards issued by the Mexican Consulate. The cards are used as a standard form of identification of Mexican Nationals living, working and visiting the United States. The Matricula Consular (consular identification cards) are used strictly for identification purposes and do not indicate the immigration status of cardholders.

I'm planning to visit with Mr. Cauthen this morning. All Kansas City Missouri citizens are urged to call the City Manager's office at 816-513-1408 or Fax is 816-513-1363 or email this bozo at manager@kcmo.org

Let's flood his office with calls, faxes and emails.

Please make note that the Kansas City Missouri Police Department has been accepting the Matricula since May.

I thought Kansans were much more sensible than that. I'd imagine Mass will rush through a similar bill, because they wish to be so "progressive".

America's surrender to Mexico is breathtaking in its scope. The whoe country is being transformed into a Mexican territory, and will soon be nothing more than a Mexican colony. Here in Northern Illinois the presense and impact of the Mexican gangs, and their association with the Mexican drug cartel, is ubiquitous and all-consuming. There was a huge cocaine bust the other day in one of the Chicago suburbs in which some $61 million in cocaine was seized, and the two guys with it were two punk gangbangers, two real low-enders. Thus, if these two mopes had that kind of stash, just think what else is out there, and how many more of the bangers are involved. The reports said that these Mexican gangs have completely taken over some communities. Our elected officials are complicit in this horror because, due to political correctness, they not only turn a blind eye to the problem, but they encourage it. And the acceptance of these Mexican ID cards is just one of many examples of their complicity.

Mexico doesn't recognize those stupid "ID cards" as a valid form of identification. They don't even require identification to get the cards in the first place.

No, no, senor, no nececitas ninguna identification.

What a joke.

I am laughing--sadly--at your description. Three years ago, I attended my son's rite of passage from "initiation" into the Navy at Great Lakes. One night, I wanted some doughnuts and went to a Dunkin' Donuts close by. Not one person spoke English. Between my limited vocabulary and, most importantly, my pointing finger, I got doughnuts. But that entire part of town didn't seem to speak English. I was told that there is a 21st century underground railroad bringing illegals in by the boxcar.

"I was told that there is a 21st century underground railroad bringing illegals in by the boxcar."

It's true. Chicago has the largest population of illegals from Mexico of any area except Los Angeles. It is estimated that the illegal Mexican population of the greater Chicago area is at least 1.5 million. Thereare some communities where Mexicans make up 80% - 90% of the population. In many areas of Chicago the Mexican flag is ubiquitous, and in the rare instance where an American flag is displayed, it is ALWAYS below the Mexican flag on the pole, which is a supreme insult. These people have no intention whatsoever of assimilating; they actually support the concept of a separate society and culture. It's truly frightening,
