For a man who helped launch the Arnold Schwarzenegger campaign with such gusto and is serving as his co-chairman, former Gov. Pete Wilson certainly has made himself scarce of late.

Wilson, who shared his campaign brain trust and many of his policy positions with Schwarzenegger, came out of the box strong in the days following the film star's candidacy announcement seven weeks ago. He happily appeared on national talk shows on Schwarzenegger's behalf.

"But he pointed out that Schwarzenegger probably voted for Wilson's controversial Proposition 187 in 1994"

"Probably"? Hardly a damning charge. I probably thought about not replying to this thread. I probably thought about walking my dog. I probably wished that I had more money. Yeesh!

On election day, I wonder how big Arnold's victory percentage over Davis (the real contest) will be ?
Its probably going to be a humiliation.

What say you? A safety is still a win in football. Who gives a god GD what the percentage is? A win is still a win.

Arnie, who came to the party late deserves the prize? On starpower and hot airified hype? And he hasn't offered anything specific about how he will deal with the issues that confront California other than he will have the world's best experts working on it. Yeah, Tom was beat from the getty-up by minds like yours. You sell yourself and anything resembling a principle off much to cheap, imo. God help us all.

Spell check, ma man. To=too.

I have stated many times that Arnold is a coalition builder. Tom is an iconoclast, even his senate members dislike him. California is a large state with a diverse body of voters.

Who better to unite the people of Kali-for-nee-ah than an immigrant who did well, eg: Arnold and not Cruz.

As per specifics, look it up yourself since it has all been posted here a billion times and I don't have time to help you.

Hey, if a NY transplant like Gray was good enough as Gub for some, why can;t another NY transplant in Tom be good too?

Why do easterners do so well on the left coast anyway? are they just good at building coalitions too? or just sucker punching ill-informed easily swayed voters who can't tell a carpetbagger from a commie in the light of day?

We don't need a immigrant Gubinor, imo.

so you just missed the Re-Pete Wilson tax hikes? Lucky you, ;-)

I guess the fact that Re-Pete (amongst others) is working behind the scenes for Arnie should be of any concern? especially for taxpayers and business owners.
