And how do I add something to 'Chat' so I don't put these posts in the 'Misc' forum anymore?

You really should post this in 'Your Opinion/Questions,' and avoid chat altogether. As for your question, I'd start with the U.S. Census Bureau. While you might not find the information you seek there, it might point you in the proper direction. Also, refer to the World Health Organization. Finally, the CIA World Factbook may contain some information on this matter. Good luck, and if my advice helped, please let me know.

Oh, lest I forget. Try the Department of Health and Human Services.

Morality or mortality? For the latter, go to the National Center for Health Statistics, specifically look here for the fact sheet on Deaths: Final Data for 2001, the last year for the completed statistics. It's broken down by age, gender, racial group, causes. There's a link for the entire PDF.

National center for health statistics is the major source. If you go to the right document, you can get it sliced by state, race, year, age of mom, age of dad, ethnicity, smoking habits, prenatal care, cause of death, etc, etc.
