Politicians in Montgomery County, Md., struck yet another blow against U.S. immigration law on Tuesday, as the county council voted unanimously to permit illegal immigrants to obtain public services using ID cards issued by foreign consulates, such as Mexico's fraud-plagued matricula consular. County Executive Doug Duncan praised the council's vote. According to Mr. Duncan, illegals have been unable to fully participate in the American dream because they couldn't produce valid identification.

Think it's bad now ??? Since Fox & friends (mexico) have now decided the US CANNOT deport illegal mexicans back to Mexico, I guess the US will be home to all the mexican criminals that mexico doesn't want back.

Soon I guess many countries will just tell us we have to keep all their illegals here, in the USA.

It is high time to take America back and maybe we even need a few more recalls or else we will eventually have to take up arms in our own country to protect ourselves. You might want to gather info and contact local crime victims groups to get them involved in fighting this issue. Crime victims can and do put a lot of pressure on legislators. You will need info to give them besides this article. Bureau of Justice Statistics would be a place to start. Chicago is a high crime city and should have several groups, from rape to homicide.

We need to begin building a lot more prisons immediately. More than one-fourth of the inmates in California prisons are illegal aliens. We can expect the same ratios in other states as the flood of trespassers continues without pause.

A lot of illegals are raping women Americans won't rape, stealing things Americans won't steal, and murdering people Americans won't murder.

That is in addition to using free healthcare Americans won't use, bankrupting hospitals Americans won't bankrupt, receiving welfare Americans won't seek and receiving free public education Americans won't seek.

All of that, of course, is fine with leaders of both major political parties.

These state gov'ts who are issuing Driver's License to ILLEGAL ALIENS in prusuit of getting them to VOTE for a particular party (which is also ILLEGAL and a PROHIBITED law breaking activity) are putting us all at risk both as a National Security issue and as a crime issue.

Often they commit violent crimes here in the US then RUN for the Mexican border to hide out in Mexico which will NOT give them to our US Justice system to prosecute! Thus effectively getting away with rape and murder!

This is ALL about VOTES not about our safety. IF they come here ILLEGALLY they are not about to suddenly go 'straight' and buy auto insurance and learn to drive propery!.Just because they now have DL's doesn't mean they will STOP drinking and driving! There are 15 states that currently "GIVE" driver's license to ILLEGAL ALIENS!

You are on the money! I am so sick of people rolling over for illegal immigrants. It denigrates all the efforts of those who come here legally. It saps resources. It weakens what it means to be an American. The media seems to take the side of illegals (why am I not surprised?) so all the looney leftists get the attention. Where is the president in all of this? I love GWB but he has got to take a stand on illegal immigration ASAP.

Obviously. It's the largest county in the state. We'll see just how big a part it plays though in 2006, as Baltimore's mayor and Montgomery's County Executive are both driving for the Dem. nod to challenge Ehrlich. It will determine which has the most clout- the Washington suburbs or Baltimore and its suburbs.
