Actually, keeping a promise made last fall, Edwards formally announced last night on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Well, the way he's presenting himself, I would say he's stumbling for President, IMHO...

Good news!
We can break out the films of the slaughter of innocent women and children in Waco thanks to this POS, Jake Reno and their buddy, Bubba Clinton.

Clark to enter presidential race
RON FOURNIER, AP Political Writer Tuesday, September 16, 2003
(09-16) 07:26 PDT LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) --
Wesley Clark, the retired general with a four-star military resume but no political experience, decided Tuesday to become the 10th Democratic presidential candidate, officials close to him said.
"He's made his decision and will announce it tomorrow in Little Rock," said Mark Fabiani, a spokesman for Clark.
Fabiani did not reveal Clark's decision, but officials close to the former general said he told his fledgling campaign team that he's in the race.

He's hoping to bomb Serbia and assist al Qaida again?
Maybe he can bring in Bill Clinton as Sec of State.
Anyone know his stance on the Israeli/Arab conflict?

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. --One of the people invited to a strategy session called for today by retired Army General Wesley Clark says there is a ``99 percent certainty'' that Clark will run for president.
But the invitee, who spoke to The Associated Press under the condition of anonymity, says Clark wants to use today's meeting to help make up his mind.
Former President Bill Clinton has urged Clark to run, but associates say he will not take sides in the primary fight. Friends of Clark say the former NATO commander believes his four-star military service would counter Bush's political advantage as a wartime commander in chief. Clark has criticized the Iraq war and Bush's postwar efforts.
Clark would be jumping into the race for the Democratic nomination just four months before the voting begins. Clark would be competing against nine other candidates who have had months to raise money, build organizations in key states and recruit the party's top political talent.
But the strategists assembled in Little Rock on Tuesday are among the party's best. An Internet-fueled draft-Clark movement has developed the seeds of a campaign organization and more than one (m) million dollars in pledges.

IMHO, this means the witch of the east is running.OF COURSE She is! She Who Must Not Be Named has every intention of running - as the convention draftee. She will then select Clark as Her military expert - that way, She won't soil Her hands with the loathed military.
This "campaign" is just a listening tour, just like Her book was.

Just speculation ( major tin foil)
Wesley runs and picks Hillary as VP. They win and he is forced to resign because the Clintons have deep skeletons on him.
Watcha think?

My educated guess is that she'll wait for the announced candidates to start beating up each other (Kerry and Dean look like they're warming up to that end), and then come in in order to "save the election".
To: MamaLucci
Bingo. Clark is her entry key. He'll bow out to become her VP candidate. Orders are orders, and Clark, at least, remembers that much from being in uniform. Love your tagline by the way; so little says so much.
