There are ways to stop SOB's like this....in fact there's a property rights group in Dallas that has saved people's homes from foreclosures and are developing strategies to stop these city hall Nazi's dead in their tracks. Everyone must understand that these city gov'ts. have no jurisdiction over it's local residents. City codes, ordinances, etc. are not law and are only devised to suck more $ out of the pockets of local citizens. Also, these cities crying poverty are full of it......most citizens only see "budgeted" figures that usually precede the fiscal year...we've never seen the "actual" figures at the end of the year reported on CAFR's (Comprehensive Annual Fin'l Reports). Keyword CAFR and you'll see some interesting info.
