My dating secret: Make sure you're wearing your dress uniform the first time she sees you. My wife never had a chance. Then again, we were onour way to a funeral, not a date, so maybe that's not a dating secret...

I tried it on my last date, but for some reason she wasn't impressed by my Troop 445 outfit, complete with Merit Badge sash!

Actually, I freaked out my first fiancee that way, back in my college days: she knew I was ROTC and such, but never saw me in full Dress Blues until we'd been going out for several weeks. . .

Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Salgak was a VERY different person from the Salgak she knew, and she literally freaked out. . .

LOL! The one thing I miss about the military is the Net-knight in mess dress ... but now he has a great Cub Scout leader uniform, and we're saving up for 4th Degree Knights of Columbus frou-frou.
